18th VICTOR Dutch International 2017
The 18th VICTOR Dutch International was held from the 20th to 23rd April in Wateringen.
In the competition men's singles the dutch top player Erik Meijs reached the quarter final. Erik had some problems with his knee in the past weeks and did not start in his best form. He was still fighting for every point, but lost to the Finish Kalle Koljonen with 15-21 15-21.

Singapore Open - Tai Tzu Ying with new record!
The Super Series tournament "OUE Singapore Open" was held in Singapore from the 11th to 16th April.
Just a short time after the big success at the Malaysia Open, Tai Tzu Ying tried to generate a new sensation. The fully equipped VICTOR player challenged again a dream final against Carolina Marin. Fourth title in a row for Tai Tzu Ying
The CELCOM AXIATA Malaysia Open was held from the 4th to 9th April in Kuching and Tai Tzu Ying could win her 4th title in a row!
The VICTOR-player Son Wan Ho reached the semi final in the men's singles competition. The Korean played a great tournament and showed his qualities in the semi final against superstar Lin Dan. Kristian Frost - Danish squash champion for the seventh time
Last weekend the Danish squash championships were held in Herlev, near Copenhagen.
After his serious injury in September last year, it was not clear how to rank the shape of Kristian Frost at the beginning of the tournament. He was placed in position 3/4, but from the very first stroke he left no doubt that he wanted to win his seventh title. He played like a champion and entered the finals without losing a set.

SSV Bozen on the road to success!
The VICTOR sponsored club SSV Bozen has successfully defended their vice championship in Italy for the fifth time in a row.
After their well-earned triumph against ASV Mals in the semi-finals, they could also celebrate their participation in the European Club Championship in Milano from the 20st to 24th June 2017. It will be a great chance to demonstrate their talent next to the best clubs of Europe.

12th. championship title for Velo Badminton!
At the 12th of March Velo Badminton was able to win their 12th championship title in the Dutch eredivisie.
In the final of the championship the team played in a derby against BC DKC.
In the end, Velo Badminton was able to get through with 5:2 games and received the champion's cup the the 12th time.
The team was greeted with joy and the championship was celebrated with the players, fans and managers.

Swiss Open 2017
The Swiss Open were held from the 14th to 19th March in Basel in Switzerland. The tournament with the category "Grand Prix Gold" is the biggest badminton tournament in Switzerland and great chance to see some of the stars playing.
In the competition men's singles the Taiwanese Tzu Wei Wang reached the semi final. He was very close to play the final against the top star Lin Dan. But he lost in three tight games with 21-18 17-21 15-21 to the Chinese Shi Yuqi and got the ... (lees meer)
All England Open with historical win!
The "All England Open" were held in the English City Birmingham from the 7th to 12th of March. The "World Superseries Premier"-tournament is a yearly highlight and one of the most important and prestige tournaments for all top stars.
Next to all top matches in this year, history was made.

German Open 2017
From 28 February to 5 March this year the impressive "German Open" took place in Mühlheim an der Ruhr.
Many of the top-stars compete at one of the most important tournaments of the badminton scene every year.
One player took the attention on himself with a spectacular win.
Tzu Wei Wang from Taiwan was seeded on position 14 in the strong men's singles competition and went step by step to the top.

Squash: German Championship 2017
The German Championship were held in the Sportwerk Hamburg from the 16th to 19th February.
Raphael Kandra was again preferred to depose the record champion Simon Rösner.
Raphael Kandra, fully equipped by VICTOR, played decisively and won his preliminaries games safely. In the quarter final his opponent Valentin Rapp from Stuttgart never had a chance and Raphael won in a really short-time, impressively with 11-4 11-2 11-3.
