Fourth title in a row for Tai Tzu Ying
The CELCOM AXIATA Malaysia Open was held from the 4th to 9th April in Kuching and Tai Tzu Ying could win her 4th title in a row!
The VICTOR-player Son Wan Ho reached the semi final in the men's singles competition. The Korean played a great tournament and showed his qualities in the semi final against superstar Lin Dan. The match was a real nail biter with unbelievable rallies and Son Wan Ho was on the verge for a big surprise. But finally Lin Dan had some more luck and won the match with 27-25 19-21 21-16. It was his first triumph of this career at the Malaysia Open.
In the women's doubles competition were also two Korean players very successful. Chang Ye Na and Lee So Hee, both fully equipped by VICTOR, played their semi final against the Chinese Huang Yaqiong and Tang Jinhua. The Chinese had some better shots at the end and won the match in 3 close games with 22-20 18-21 21-16.
All badminton fans got an absolutely epic women's singles final. The current world no. 1 Tai Tzu Ying, fully equipped by VICTOR, played against one of her biggest rival. The Spanish Carolina Marin was in a fighting mode and the match was next to the men's singles final a real highlight. After 3 games and a play time of 96 minutes our VICTORian Tai Tzu Ying was the winner again. She won her 4th phenomenal title in a row!
