The world no. 1 Tai Tzu Ying probably managed the biggest win of her career so far. First of all the Taiwanese had to win a dramatic semi-final. It was a clear VICTOR-semi-final and it was Tai Tzu Ying who won with 11-21 21-14 21-14 over the Korean Sung Ji Hyun.

Ratchanok Intanon was surprisingly the final-opponent of Tai Tzu Ying. The Thai already bet Carolina Marin in the quarter-final who was one of the favourites. And now she was part of the final in the All England Open. But Tai Tzu Ying showed her class and won the final with 21-16 22-20 and not only won her first title at the All England Open, but also for her home country Taiwan.

In the competition men's doubles was another top VICTOR-Team the favorite. The top-seeded Goh V Shem and  Tan Wee Kiong played against Li Junhui and Liu Yuchen from China in the quarter-final. The Chinese played a very good tournament-week and won the quarter-final with 21-19 17-21 21-19. This is why the road to the podium for the top-flight Malia was denied this year.

Their opponents in the final were Kamilla Rytter Juhl and Christinna Pedersen from Denmark, who won the semi-final against the VICTOR-double Jung Kyung Eun and Shin Seung Chan from Korea with 21-16 21-13. But in the final the second Korean double with Chang Ye Na and Lee So Hee had the control over the Danish players and won with 21-18 21-13 and finally the tournament without any set-loss.

The final of the mixed doubles had another VICTOR-participation. Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu Yin from Malaysia are fully equipped by VICTOR and had to play against the Chinese Lu Kai and Huang Yaqiong. The Chinese were full of euphoria, because the had some incredible wins in the quarter- and semi-finals. The final was a real thriller and the VICTORian tried everything to win. But the Chinese were too strong this week and finally won with 18-21 21-19 21-16.
