"Sportswoman of the year" a gorgeous final for Juliane Schenk
Juliane Schenks year went up and down, but finally ended in wonderful cheers. First she ended as No 9 worldwide by entering the Super Series final in the best 10 players worldwide (Malaysia). Now, she is voted Sportswoman of the year by the biggest Badminton magazine wordwide in Europe- the Badminton Sport. Absolutely amazing 47 % of the readers, favoured her and gave their vote. VIP visit in one of the biggest factories in the world
The team of the Korean national team, currently second best team in the world, visited VICTOR Rackets Ltd factory in Nanjing last Monday, the 23rd. Everybody was excited about the honour of this visit. They whole team including (pls see pictures with production chief Liu Quiangning ) coach Li Mao, player Lee Yong-dae, as well as Choi-Ho-chen, who has just beaten Lin Dan made a round robin tour and were astonished about the size of the manufacturing as well as the way of precision and progressivness during the production and quality- process. Juliane Schenk in the finale of the the Super Series Masters
The qualification and participation for the BWF World Super Series in Malaysia was already an unexpected huge success for Juliane. Only the Best players of the world participate in this top- of -the- top -tournament, and only 2 German players took part in the event. Nicole Grether was obliged to play Juliane early and lost quite clearly. During the next thrilling matches, the "tiger" left no doubt at all belonging to the top worlwide by steaming to the finals. In her inimitable way, Juliane Schenk stays unbeaten in this year's Masters final of the Super Series. After her first victory over Nicole Grether , "Juli" continued her triumphal procession and beat Yao Yie in an unexpected manner in two sets (21:13 / 21:10). Tomorrow she will enter the last game as favorite. The course is set to the semi finals - Go Juli, Go!

At this year's annual tournament of the top-ranked players, Juliane Schenk, as the current German champion, leads the German squad into this big tournament. Together with Nicole Grether she is one of the 8 best players which were invited to this year's final tournament of the Super Series Masters. The tournament will take place this year in Johor Bahru in Malaysia, from 2 to 6 December. Team Korea defending their title
This year at the Yonex-Sunrise Hong Kong Open men's doubles was won by our Korean national team with his superstar Lee Yong Dae and his partner Jung Jae Sung in three exciting sets in the final. After 50 minutes the Koreans were confirmed as the winner. Their opponents, Lars Paaske and Jonas Rasmussen from Denmark had to be content with the silver medal.
