Jungstar Saskia Beinhard wins Swiss Junior Open - Saad Shahid caught a cold just before the quaters
German Champion, Saskia Beinhard, dominates Girls under 13 class at the Swiss Junior Open 2011. Seated on Pos 1, Saskia send herself into the finals with her concentrated and focused kind of playing by only loosing one game in the whole tournament. In the finals she beat her opponent Caroline Lynd Christiansen from Denmark 11:6 11:9 11:3. The only twelve year old VICTOR player showed up that she is playing a role in the worlds top position and is allocated at the deserved second place in the European ranking now. Saad Shahid also had a good start into the tournament and palyed hisself into the quater finals. There he was not only forced to loos against his opponent, Jordan Davies from Wales, but also to a cold attended with fever. Perhaps Saad could have made it also to the semi finals whithout his physical limitation because he beat his opponent already twice this year. We whish him to get well soon and will be happy to see him in physical top form again at the next tournament.
