The only 16 year old Carolina Marin Martin is considered as one of the greatest talents of the European badminton scene. She already plays with this young age in the senior league of Spain, and won the title as single and womens double. After her great success this year at the U19 European Championships, where she just lost in the finals, she succeeded at the U17 European Championships in Medvode(Slovenia) during the last weekend with an outstanding and playful lightness the gold medal in the women's singles U17. She defeated Neslihan Yigit from Turkey in 2 thrilling sets. The total playing time of the finale was just about 19 minutes and in the same time an impressive presentation of the badminton sport. After this performance - which made everybody speechless, we are proud that she has signed a long-term contract with VICTOR until 2016 and surely we look forward to coming tournaments, watching Carolina impress everybody and win.
