Badminton – one of the top issues at the contest "youth researches" (a German wide contest, where young people present their different scientific projects)

Simon Juras reached 4th place at this contest.

With support of VOLKSWAGEN AG and VICTOR International Gmbh he developed a specific procedure to test the vibration behaviour of badminton rackets shaft.

Through synchronisation of the vibration he reached an improvement of the quality of the rackets.

On his booth on the regional contest in Braunschweig on the 27th of february, the passioned badminton players also received the award for non-destroying-testing.

"Projects like these, or supporting a bachelors degree, is for us an investement into the future. "says Jan Beutler, executive director of VICTOR International."

Particularly since VI apprentices finish the apprenticeship every year with the best grades.

"We will keep on spending money and time into such projects, and we will surely use Simon Juras ideas for an improvement in our production" so his resumption.

All in total more than 10.000 young people took part in 78 events in that contest (relying to the webpage jugend-forscht.de).

This shows the great success of Simon Juras, and how important his measurements are.

The initiative youth research tries to motivate more teachers and sponsors for upcoming events, to support such great ideas like this of Simon Juras.
